REFINISHING: Our process does not cut corners. Wood is stripped, sanded, repaired, 
pores filled, sanded, then stain is sprayed on for evenness of color. Then three coats of sander sealer is applied, then sanded. As many coats of lacquer is applied as needed to restore the wood's character and beauty in a deep rich glow. We refinish soundboards and plates with their decals replaced. Brass is polished or replated. Detailed work is done with care. We offer in-home repair of the wood or finish due to piano moving accidents.

REBUILDING: We do all rebuilding and refinishing in our shop. No outsourcing allows us to hold to the highest standards, avoid unnecessary costs and untimely delays. We can do magic on chipped ivories or replace plastic keytops to factory standard. We use only the highest quality action parts, Arledge bass strings, Able hammers, Delignet pinblocks and state-of-the-art finishes. Then many hours are spent regulating and voicing the instrument to produce a new power and sound.
